So many people want to start living less toxic lives, but living in our toxic world, where does one start. My journey started in August of 2009 when I learned that I was bathing my daughter in a bath of toxins. As a concerned parent I was appalled to find out that household named products such as Johnson & Johnson, Aveeno and even Burts Bees were not safe, organic or natural instead they contained toxins that could affect my daughters ability to reproduce one day, disrupt her endocrine system and even up her chances of cancer. I thought I was an informed consumer, I thought I could trust these products and many others. What I found out was that NO ONE protects us, especially NOT the FDA.
Thankfully I was introduced to Ava Anderson Non-Toxic a revolutionary personal care product line that is SAFE from all harmful chemicals. Safe enough for the entire family to use. Through Ava Anderson I was also introduced to the Cosmetics Database a third party site run by the Environmental Working Group, a place to find out exactly what was in my products. Today, only 8 months after joining Ava Anderson as a consultant, I am now an Executive Director, who is not only spreading our powerful health message and empowering people every day to make safe choices and to reduce the body burden, but I am running a very successful business.
My hope through this blog is to empower you, the readers to make safer choices. To have the tools necessary to living a long and Toxin Free Life.
